SAKUMETA Short Wavy Bob with Curtain Bangs Daily Wig
Short Wavy Bob with Soft, Defined Waves
This Daily Wig features a short wavy bob with soft, defined waves that add movement and texture to the hairstyle. The short silhouette keeps the overall shape neat, while the waves give it a softer and less rigid appearance.
The combination works well for everyday styling when you want a short hairstyle with visible texture rather than a completely straight finish.
Center-Parted Curtain Bangs for a Soft Face-Framing Look
The front features center-parted curtain bangs that fall naturally toward both sides of the face. The open center leaves part of the forehead visible while the longer sides create a soft frame around the face.
The curtain bangs complement the wavy bob and can be incorporated into different everyday looks without changing the overall shape of the wig.
Multiple Color Options for Different Everyday Styles
Available in multiple colors, this wig gives you the flexibility to choose a shade that matches your personal preference and everyday style. Each color option keeps the same short wavy bob design with curtain bangs, so you can choose the color that best fits the look you want to create.
High-Temperature Matte Fiber with a Softer Finish
Made from high-temperature matte fiber, the wig has a softer-looking finish with less noticeable shine than conventional glossy synthetic hair. This gives the waves a more subdued appearance that works well for everyday wear.
The fiber can also be reshaped when needed. If heat styling is required, keep the temperature between 150–180°C and do not exceed 180°C.
12-Inch Length for an Easy Short Hairstyle
With an approximately 12-inch length, this wig offers a manageable short hairstyle that is easy to incorporate into an everyday routine. The length provides enough room for the waves and curtain bangs to maintain their shape while keeping the overall hairstyle relatively short.
It is also an easy way to experiment with a short wavy look without cutting or permanently changing your natural hair.

How to Wear a Wig?
Before wearing a wig, ensure your hair is securely fixed with a wig cap, making sure it is smooth and flat to avoid puffiness or slippage. The wig cap should fit snugly against your scalp without being too tight to maintain comfort. When putting on the wig, start at the forehead and slowly pull it back over your head, aligning the wig's hairline with your natural hairline. Adjust the wig to cover your entire head and gently pat it to ensure a snug fit.
If the wig has straps or clips, use them to enhance stability, especially during extended wear or outdoor activities. For long wigs, gently comb the strands after wearing to maintain a natural and neat appearance.
What is Wig Styling Level?
Wig Styling Level is a star-based rating system (★ one star to ★★★★★ five stars) that shows how much styling effort may be needed to achieve the look shown in our product photos. Some wigs are nearly ready to wear, while others may require trimming, shaping, or other DIY styling work.
How to Care for Your Wig After Wearing?
It's normal for your wig to get messy after wearing due to friction with clothing. Carry a wig care spray to reduce frizz and static. After removing the wig, finger-detangle knots, then gently comb from the ends up. For stubborn tangles, trim as needed without affecting the overall look. Wigs don’t need frequent washing; once every 1-2 months is sufficient. To remove hairspray or sweat, soak the wig briefly in lukewarm water with shampoo, then air dry naturally, avoiding heat or direct sunlight.
How to Clean Your Wig?
Wigs don't require frequent washing. If worn daily, clean them every 1-2 months; if worn occasionally, every six months is sufficient. For cleaning, submerge the wig in lukewarm water, add a small amount of shampoo or conditioner, and gently wash it, avoiding vigorous scrubbing or prolonged soaking. After washing, press the wig with a towel to absorb excess water, but do not use a hot dryer or direct sunlight to dry it, as this can damage the fibers. Air drying is the best way to maintain the wig's texture and style.
Why Does My Wig Make My Head Look Big or Feel Unstable?
If your wig makes your head look larger or feels unstable, it’s likely because your natural hair wasn’t properly secured with a wig cap. The right way is to first wrap your hair tightly with a wig cap and secure it with hairpins to ensure a smooth, even surface. This will help the wig sit securely and prevent it from making your head appear larger.
Wig Hair Quality
Wig hair quality can vary depending on the season, style, and material. During summer, wigs tend to be smoother, so it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent deformation. In winter, wigs might feel drier, so soaking them in warm water with conditioner can help keep them smooth and reduce static.
Can Wigs Be Heat-Styled or Dyed?
High-temperature synthetic wigs can be styled with curling irons or flat irons at temperatures below 120°C (248°F). However, be cautious with the heat to avoid damaging the fibers. While wigs can be dyed, we recommend against it since synthetic fibers lack cuticles to lock in color, leading to quick fading. Additionally, the dyeing process for wigs is complex and can be time-consuming, so it’s best to avoid re-dyeing to preserve the wig’s quality.
Is a higher star level better quality?
Not at all. The level only reflects how much styling work might be needed—not the quality of the wig itself. All of our character wigs (except universal/base wigs) come with a basic pre-style. The star level simply helps you estimate how much additional effort may be required to recreate the look in the product images.
I’m new to cosplay—what level should I choose?
We recommend starting with wigs rated 1 to 3 stars. These usually require minimal styling or are very beginner-friendly. You can still look fantastic without needing professional tools or prior experience.
