SAKUMETA Charlotte Cosplay Wig
Charlotte Signature Pink Short Hairstyle with an Accurate Silhouette
This SAKUMETA cosplay wig recreates Charlotte’s signature pink short hairstyle, with an overall length and silhouette designed to match the character’s recognizable appearance. The short structure provides a clear foundation for recreating Charlotte’s hairstyle in cosplay.
Lightweight Layered Bangs with Face-Framing Strands
The front features lightweight layered bangs combined with longer strands around both sides of the face. This arrangement follows the facial hair structure seen in Charlotte’s character artwork, creating defined framing without making the front of the hairstyle appear overly heavy.
High-Tied Side Ponytail for Charlotte’s Distinctive Hairstyle
A high-tied ponytail is positioned on one side to recreate Charlotte’s characteristic side-tied hairstyle. The asymmetrical placement gives the overall silhouette a recognizable feature and helps distinguish the hairstyle from a standard short wig.
Short Back Hair with Layered Ends and Side Ponytail
The short hair at the back naturally gathers into the overall shape of the wig, working together with the side ponytail and layered ends to maintain a complete hairstyle silhouette. The combination keeps the different sections visually connected while preserving Charlotte’s short-haired character design.
Beyond Cosplay - Bring the Character to Life
Charlotte is a reporter for The Steambird, Fontaine’s famous newspaper, and is known for constantly searching for the next story. Her profession is more than simply a job: Charlotte approaches journalism with a strong sense of curiosity and a determination to uncover the truth behind the events she encounters.
Charlotte’s appearance reflects the energetic personality of a young reporter. Her pink short hair, layered bangs, and high side ponytail create a compact but distinctly asymmetrical silhouette. SAKUMETA focuses on these defining hairstyle elements in this Charlotte Cosplay Wig, keeping the short hair structure and side ponytail together so cosplayers can recreate her recognizable Fontaine reporter look.

How to Wear a Wig?
Before wearing a wig, ensure your hair is securely fixed with a wig cap, making sure it is smooth and flat to avoid puffiness or slippage. The wig cap should fit snugly against your scalp without being too tight to maintain comfort. When putting on the wig, start at the forehead and slowly pull it back over your head, aligning the wig's hairline with your natural hairline. Adjust the wig to cover your entire head and gently pat it to ensure a snug fit.
If the wig has straps or clips, use them to enhance stability, especially during extended wear or outdoor activities. For long wigs, gently comb the strands after wearing to maintain a natural and neat appearance.
What is Wig Styling Level?
Wig Styling Level is a star-based rating system (★ one star to ★★★★★ five stars) that shows how much styling effort may be needed to achieve the look shown in our product photos. Some wigs are nearly ready to wear, while others may require trimming, shaping, or other DIY styling work.
How to Care for Your Wig After Wearing?
It's normal for your wig to get messy after wearing due to friction with clothing. Carry a wig care spray to reduce frizz and static. After removing the wig, finger-detangle knots, then gently comb from the ends up. For stubborn tangles, trim as needed without affecting the overall look. Wigs don’t need frequent washing; once every 1-2 months is sufficient. To remove hairspray or sweat, soak the wig briefly in lukewarm water with shampoo, then air dry naturally, avoiding heat or direct sunlight.
How to Clean Your Wig?
Wigs don't require frequent washing. If worn daily, clean them every 1-2 months; if worn occasionally, every six months is sufficient. For cleaning, submerge the wig in lukewarm water, add a small amount of shampoo or conditioner, and gently wash it, avoiding vigorous scrubbing or prolonged soaking. After washing, press the wig with a towel to absorb excess water, but do not use a hot dryer or direct sunlight to dry it, as this can damage the fibers. Air drying is the best way to maintain the wig's texture and style.
Why Does My Wig Make My Head Look Big or Feel Unstable?
If your wig makes your head look larger or feels unstable, it’s likely because your natural hair wasn’t properly secured with a wig cap. The right way is to first wrap your hair tightly with a wig cap and secure it with hairpins to ensure a smooth, even surface. This will help the wig sit securely and prevent it from making your head appear larger.
Wig Hair Quality
Wig hair quality can vary depending on the season, style, and material. During summer, wigs tend to be smoother, so it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent deformation. In winter, wigs might feel drier, so soaking them in warm water with conditioner can help keep them smooth and reduce static.
Can Wigs Be Heat-Styled or Dyed?
High-temperature synthetic wigs can be styled with curling irons or flat irons at temperatures below 120°C (248°F). However, be cautious with the heat to avoid damaging the fibers. While wigs can be dyed, we recommend against it since synthetic fibers lack cuticles to lock in color, leading to quick fading. Additionally, the dyeing process for wigs is complex and can be time-consuming, so it’s best to avoid re-dyeing to preserve the wig’s quality.
Is a higher star level better quality?
Not at all. The level only reflects how much styling work might be needed—not the quality of the wig itself. All of our character wigs (except universal/base wigs) come with a basic pre-style. The star level simply helps you estimate how much additional effort may be required to recreate the look in the product images.
I’m new to cosplay—what level should I choose?
We recommend starting with wigs rated 1 to 3 stars. These usually require minimal styling or are very beginner-friendly. You can still look fantastic without needing professional tools or prior experience.
