SAKUMETA Hiyuki Cosplay Wig
Custom White Heat-Resistant Matte Fiber
This Hiyuki cosplay wig is made with custom white heat-resistant matte fiber to match the character's clean, cool-toned hairstyle from Wuthering Waves. The matte finish helps reduce unwanted shine under convention lighting and photography, giving the color a more natural appearance.
The fibers can be reshaped with moderate heat, making it easier to adjust loose strands, refine the silhouette, or perform additional styling after trimming.
Signature Half-Up High Ponytail Hairstyle
The wig follows Hiyuki's recognizable half-up high ponytail design, keeping the balance between volume at the crown and the long flowing back hair. This structure recreates the character's silhouette while reducing the amount of styling required before wearing.
The pre-built base also makes it easier to maintain the overall shape during transport and repeated use.
Straight Long Hair with Full Bangs
Full bangs and extra-long straight hair recreate the clean lines of the original character design. The front fringe is left with enough length for trimming, allowing adjustment to different face shapes without exposing the wig cap.
The long back sections remain smooth and layered, making them easier to brush and maintain between cosplay events.
Pre-Styled Base with Realistic Scalp
This construction is suitable for both beginners and experienced wig stylists who prefer a solid styling foundation.
Breathable Wig Cap for Comfortable Wear
Inside the wig is a breathable rose mesh cap with adjustable straps for different head sizes. The cap improves airflow during extended wear while helping keep the wig securely in place.
Whether used for conventions, stage performances, photoshoots, or display, the structure is designed for repeated cosplay use and routine maintenance.
Beyond Cosplay - Bring the Character to Life
In the mysterious and resonant world of Wuthering Waves, Hiyuki stands as a breathtaking embodiment of purity, elegance, and quiet strength. Amidst the chaotic echoes of the past and the relentless battles against the Tacet Discords, she remains a serene presence, a beacon of calm in the storm. Her journey is one of quiet resilience, navigating the complexities of her past while forging a path toward a future filled with hope. She is a character defined by her grace under pressure and her unwavering commitment to her beliefs. Her iconic pure white hair, styled in a half-up high ponytail, perfectly captures her ethereal and pristine nature, reflecting the harmonious blend of delicate beauty and formidable resolve she brings to every encounter.
To reflect those details, SAKUMETA developed this cosplay wig with a pre-styled half-up structure, custom white matte fibers, and a realistic scalp design. The construction provides a reliable styling base while leaving room for trimming and personal adjustments, making it suitable for conventions, cosplay photography, and character-focused displays.

How to Wear a Wig?
Before wearing a wig, ensure your hair is securely fixed with a wig cap, making sure it is smooth and flat to avoid puffiness or slippage. The wig cap should fit snugly against your scalp without being too tight to maintain comfort. When putting on the wig, start at the forehead and slowly pull it back over your head, aligning the wig's hairline with your natural hairline. Adjust the wig to cover your entire head and gently pat it to ensure a snug fit.
If the wig has straps or clips, use them to enhance stability, especially during extended wear or outdoor activities. For long wigs, gently comb the strands after wearing to maintain a natural and neat appearance.
What is Wig Styling Level?
Wig Styling Level is a star-based rating system (★ one star to ★★★★★ five stars) that shows how much styling effort may be needed to achieve the look shown in our product photos. Some wigs are nearly ready to wear, while others may require trimming, shaping, or other DIY styling work.
How to Care for Your Wig After Wearing?
It's normal for your wig to get messy after wearing due to friction with clothing. Carry a wig care spray to reduce frizz and static. After removing the wig, finger-detangle knots, then gently comb from the ends up. For stubborn tangles, trim as needed without affecting the overall look. Wigs don’t need frequent washing; once every 1-2 months is sufficient. To remove hairspray or sweat, soak the wig briefly in lukewarm water with shampoo, then air dry naturally, avoiding heat or direct sunlight.
How to Clean Your Wig?
Wigs don't require frequent washing. If worn daily, clean them every 1-2 months; if worn occasionally, every six months is sufficient. For cleaning, submerge the wig in lukewarm water, add a small amount of shampoo or conditioner, and gently wash it, avoiding vigorous scrubbing or prolonged soaking. After washing, press the wig with a towel to absorb excess water, but do not use a hot dryer or direct sunlight to dry it, as this can damage the fibers. Air drying is the best way to maintain the wig's texture and style.
Why Does My Wig Make My Head Look Big or Feel Unstable?
If your wig makes your head look larger or feels unstable, it’s likely because your natural hair wasn’t properly secured with a wig cap. The right way is to first wrap your hair tightly with a wig cap and secure it with hairpins to ensure a smooth, even surface. This will help the wig sit securely and prevent it from making your head appear larger.
Wig Hair Quality
Wig hair quality can vary depending on the season, style, and material. During summer, wigs tend to be smoother, so it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent deformation. In winter, wigs might feel drier, so soaking them in warm water with conditioner can help keep them smooth and reduce static.
Can Wigs Be Heat-Styled or Dyed?
High-temperature synthetic wigs can be styled with curling irons or flat irons at temperatures below 120°C (248°F). However, be cautious with the heat to avoid damaging the fibers. While wigs can be dyed, we recommend against it since synthetic fibers lack cuticles to lock in color, leading to quick fading. Additionally, the dyeing process for wigs is complex and can be time-consuming, so it’s best to avoid re-dyeing to preserve the wig’s quality.
Is a higher star level better quality?
Not at all. The level only reflects how much styling work might be needed—not the quality of the wig itself. All of our character wigs (except universal/base wigs) come with a basic pre-style. The star level simply helps you estimate how much additional effort may be required to recreate the look in the product images.
I’m new to cosplay—what level should I choose?
We recommend starting with wigs rated 1 to 3 stars. These usually require minimal styling or are very beginner-friendly. You can still look fantastic without needing professional tools or prior experience.
